How I figured out I was Bi

When I was in elementary school, I remember having lots of crushes on boys. I swear I would have a new crush every week, but being a child I knew nothing about the world of love. I also didn’t know anything about other relationships aside from the straight couple examples that I would see everywhere.

But I would have close relationships with girls, but only a couple. I look back on it now and see that I preferred deeper connections with a small amount of girls I knew and sillier ones with the many boys I befriended. I always remembered thinking “boys make better friends then girls”. As a child this made sense to me, if a boy stopped talking to me that was fine because I had more to talk to and laugh with. But if a girl stopped talking to me, it would bother me, I remember dwelling on it. Am I ugly? Am I not girly enough? Am I not fun? Why did she stop talking to me? As a child, I guess I always thought I would end up with a boy anyway, and ending up with a girl never crossed my mind. So maybe I thought the relationships between the two should be different? I’m not 100% sure…

Why is Drinking a "Flame" Drink Sexy? or is it?

I always have a couple thoughts when I see someone drink a drink that is on fire. For one I've pretty much have never seen anyone drink one in real life, nor have I ever had one myself. I'm pretty lame I know. But I digress! 

So how does one even drink one of these drinks! Does it burn? Do you blow it out? What's the point of it being on fire? Does it help the taste?  

So I did my research to find out, and hopefully it helps you out as well. Maybe you'll be able to impress that special someone or  hopefully not burn your face.

For my research I looked on YouTube and asked my more experienced friends for there input.   

1) Is drinking a "flame" drink sexy?

In my opinion, I think if I saw a shot on fire being served to someone I would watch them and study there body language. I feel it would take confidence to order a drink like that. And personally if someone has enough confidence in there body language, that to me sexy enough. But I guess the flaming shot would add a hint of danger.

Tim - I wouldn't find her to be sexy but I'd be more drawn to wanting to take a shot with her, but that goes with me enjoying to out drink people. haha

Jackie - I'd find him dangerous. Which to some would find sexy. I'd more be worried he made the drink without permission and we would be kicked out for starting fires in a bar. True story. 

2) What's the point to putting a drink on fire?

The point is to be flashy and adventurous! Why order just any plain shot when you can order a shot ON FIRE!!! People will definitely notice the person with the flaming drink in front of them. Those drinks are a little pricier then normal shots, but that's the price you buy for being the center of attention. HEY! it's not always a bad thing.

Tim - it's flashy and draws attention.Think about it, are you gonna pay attention to the guy that orders a normal drink? Or take a second glance at the drink he's about to do on fire? They are flashy and a little more expensive so it just helps to draw more attention to themselves if they are seeking to be more of the center of the party.

3) How does one drink a flaming drink?

From the YouTube videos I've seen you either lightly blow it out or snuff it out. 

4) Is there a point besides being flashy to lighting a drink on fire?

Tim pretty much said it all, so here's what he said.

Tim - Well to some it may be an egotistical deal, a point to prove that they can stand up to the challenge and be "hardcore" in a sense. Other cases it's to fuck with one of their friends. Other than that not really.

So there you have it! The mystery of the flaming drink has now been solved! For those of us who were to innocent to know there was nothing special about it in the first place. Well besides for looking badass and sexy. 

And there you have it! For those who are not in the know about drinks that are on fire. Sorry this post took me so long to day. It's not even as amazing as I wanted it, BUT I did something! Hopefully my next post won't take as long!
